Focus: 21 Questions to answer before saying “Yes I do” [Part 2]

Continuation of Service on the 9th of February 2020.

The reasons why we incur fractures in life and relationship is because we neglect scriptures. When you neglect scriptures, you discover fractures.

Marriage is an everlasting covenant. Its not by force but it’s by choice. Marriage does not only affect your future, but it affects your generation. Some problems in the society is family values and teaching.

Your experience does not cancel your value before God. A stained N1000 and a neat one have the same value.

12. Question of Conviction: Are you convinced about the marriage you are going into? Do not do trial and error.
13. Question of Parent Consent: Parents carry parental blessings for us. If your marriage is blessed by your parents, it goes well in your marriage. (Ephesians 6:2 – 3). Never go into marriage if you don’t ask for permission and consent from the father.
14. Question of Culture: Marriage is scriptural and not culture. The first marriage existed before society. You don’t run marriage without the word. Mark 7:13, Tradition destroys scriptural commands.
15. Question of Domestication: A wife is a home maker. (Proverb 31:10-13). A woman should be able to make all dishes and keep her home.
16. Question of Compatibility: You are expected to have some things in common. Both of you should agree on some basic things that’s crucial to your life. You need compatibility when it comes to health. AS cannot marry AS. Do not risk your life in regards to health.
