Beginning Statements:

1. The greatness of end-time church as established in scriptures is impossible without the reign of sanctification. Hosea 10:12
2. It is impossible to encounter the things of the spirit until the reign of sanctify.
3. The reign of the spirit comes after repentance. Acts 2:28
4. Sanctification is the gateway to our covenant highways,
5. Sanctification is continuous, it is for eternity. Galatians 3:29, Matthew 5:14, Genesis 28:14

10. For us to overcome the wickedness of this earth, we need to hold on to God because the battles of life are exceptionally spiritual, they are not carnal.
11. The weapon of our warfare is not carnality, but spirituality and it requires spiritual approach to have your desired victory

13. Sanctification is a race and exercise is the rule of championship
14. To stay sanctified you need to be on the track and remain in that race. Acts 24:16

19. You can’t engage in a 100 meter race without practicing. So to remain in the race of sanctification we must exercising ourselves from the word of God, 1 Cor 9:24. You need to exercise yourself against the spirit of wickedness, envy and strife.

21. You should be enticed by the things of the Lord and not the things of the world, because God’s word is the vital treatment for ungodliness. Psalm 107:20. Ungodliness is destructive, and God’s word is the only treatment.

What is Sanctification?

1. Sanctification means standing right with God. 2 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Thessalonians 4:3
2. Sanctification is abstaining from all unclean things. 1 Corinthians 16:13

Pathways to Sanctification

1. Engage in self purging. 1 John 3:3. Departure from iniquity is the foundation to a glorious future. 2 Timothy 2:19-21

• Accepting personal responsibility is what will establish your dignity in Christ

2. Mortify the deeds of the flesh through the spirit. Romans 8:13

• Everyone is responsible for his or her deeds and acts not the devil.
• Your sanctification is your own responsibility not the responsibility of your pastors. Colossians 3:5-6,13
• Mortifying your deeds by the spirit is your cheapest access to a triumphant living.
• You don’t decide your future, you decide your deeds and your deeds define your future, without faith it is impossible to live a sanctified life. Matthew 21:22
• Faith is a booster of sanctification

Benefits of Sanctification

1. Sanctification secures supernatural supply. Psalm 33:18-19, Isaiah 3:10

• Your riches become risky when God is out of it.
• Your destiny and that of your children are at risk if the word of God is not your guide.
• It is God that supplies and blesses and this blessing of God increases and does not have sorrow. Ps 37:25
• You can’t be living a sanctified life and be begging for bread. You can’t be a giver and God will not supply your needs.
• When God is not involved in your riches, your blessing is at risk.
• Any servant placed under you, honour him well

2. It procures generational blessing. Genesis 22:18

• Sanctification holds a guarantee to your future. Proverbs 20:7
• Blessings have its root in sanctification
• The benefits of God is an offspring of sanctification

3. Sanctification secures eternity with Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
4. Sanctification guarantees the best of adventures here on earth and eternity in Christ.
5. You can’t have access to eternity without sanctification.

Causes of Ungodliness

1. It blocks our access to God’s presence. Psalm 101:7

• Ungodliness brings you out of the presence of God and exposes you to the trap of the devil

2. It blocks our access to divine favour. Psalm 5:12

• Sanctification triggers favour.
• Repentance is a non-negotiable requirement for forgiveness. Proverbs 28: 13
• Repentance is your pathway to disconnect from ungodliness. 1 John 1:8-10
• Repentance brings restoration and restoration brings about God’s manifestation
• Every treasure and blessings have costs for God to manifest and restore all that you have lost, you need to repent from all the things you have done that did not bring glory to God’s name.
