Beginning Statement:

  1. Financial fortune simply means being rich towards God. Luke 12:15,21,33, 1 Timothy 6:17-19
  2. Wordily riches are uncertain in nature. Proverbs 23:4-5, Genesis 47:27
  3. No one owns anything in this world. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 Do not carry an ownership mentality of anything in this world because you own nothing. It is only God that owns everything in this world. Psalm 24:1
  4. God is the owner of all wealth in this world, man owns nothing. 1 Timothy 6:6-8, Ecclesiastes 5:11-15
  5. Only God can make lasting riches, wealth, and pleasure in life. Ecclesiastes 6:1-2, John 15:5
  6. It is contentment that brings lasting blessings, be happy with where you are per time and God will continue to bring you more blessings.
  7. Ownership can change at any time, it is God that is the eternal owner of all things. Psalm 24:1
  8. Seekers of God with their resources don’t lack anything good in this world including finances. Psalm 34:10, Matthew 6:33, 2 Chronicles 26:4-5
  9. We must be trusted by God to use His wealth to fulfil His purpose. God wants you to bring your wealth to build His church for His glory. Zechariah 1:17, Haggai 2:7-9
  10. Praying for peace is what secures prosperity. Psalm 122:6-9
  11. We must recognise that our giving is not a financial donation to help God. It is a spiritual transaction that answers in heaven and triggers supernatural order of blessings. 2 Kings 6:26-27
  12. You cannot help God, in trying to help God you will hurt yourself
  13. All givings go through God before arriving its final destination. Philippians 4:10-19
  14. All givings go through God first before it is approved for release. 1 Kings 3:3-10,13
  15. The system God uses to make people wealthy is the covenant. Until your path is played, God cannot play His part. Nehemiah 9:7-8, Genesis 13:2, Genesis 17:7-8

 

What is a covenant?

  1. A covenant is a medium of exchange between God and man or between systems. Jeremiah 33:20, 21, 25
  2. A covenant simply means exchange. 2 Corinthians 8:9
  • There is always what man must do to activate the covenant into operation. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Luke 6:48, Matthew 7:24-25, 1 Kings 17:9,13-15
  • Nobody was born rich or poor, people only become poor or rich by certain principles, practices, and policies. Proverbs 10:2-4
  • Financial management is taught the same way other management principles are Proverbs 10:4, Proverbs 11:24-25
  • Principles of generosity – being a continuous giver committed to giving as a lifestyle. Proverbs 13:7
  • Giving eliminates poverty; When you give, you will never be poor. 2 Corinthians 8:1-7
  • You can give to the point where you will give away poverty.

 

Covenant channels of financial fortune

  1. Giving in all church services. Mark 12:41-44
  • We don’t work to make a living; we work to make a giving. Ephesians 4:28
  1. Truthful tithing. Deuteronomy 26:12
  • Tithe is a test of truth. As a believer, you should be truthful when God is blessing you. Deuteronomy 14:22-23
  • You don’t fear God if you are not a tither.
  • When you pay your tithe, you are practicing the fear of God.
  1. Choicest worship offering. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2, Genesis 4:3-7
  • If you don’t give a consistent offering, you will not have consistent increase of blessings.
  • As your grace grows, your offering should also grow with the progress of time. Exodus 23:14-16
  • If you don’t want to remain empty, don’t return empty. Exodus 12:35-36
  • Honourable giving is done with substance in volumes. 1 Kings 10:10-14,23-27
  • You can grow in your worship offering giving life. 2 Corinthians 3:18

 

Benefits of giving

  1. Curses are averted. Malachi 3:6-19
  2. Divine protection is guaranteed. Job 22:25, Job 11:18-20

 

In conclusion,

  • It is only blessings that can make rich and the initiation to these blessings is salvation. Acts 3:26
  • When iniquity is turned away, prosperity is activated.
