GATEWAYS TO FINANCIAL FORTUNE Part 2B - PASTOR CHIGBO BENWONDER NWABUEZE

The subject of finance is a much-needed matter in our day and age. Prov. 23:4-5;

Men are chasing money and have been chased out of life. 1 Tim. 6:10-11,17-19.

You can be rich and righteous at the same time. Prov. 8:18; Ps. 112:1-3. You must find the right way to be rich. Riches from God are to be enjoyed, not endured.

You are working to make a giving. Many are stealing to be rich. Many are scheming to be wealthy. Prov. 20:21. God is the final authority in the issue of wealth. His way may be slow, but it is sure. Ps. 66:12

Redemption is the cure from rag to riches. 2 Cor. 8:9

Matt 17:25, Mark 12:41-44, Luke 19:1-10

Your wealth is the clearest definition of your worth.

Your giving capacity determines your living standard. Lev. 27:2-9

Your priest should know your worth more than anyone else in this world. God knows your worth. Lev. 27:12.

God should be the greatest recipient of your financial resources because He is the source. 1 Cor. 29:1

Financial fortune is purely of God. 1Chron. 29:28

 

What is financial fortune?

  1. Having access to the sufficiency of God at all times and in all things. 2 Cor. 3:5; 8:9; 9:8

Money is not everything, and everything is not money. 1 Pet. 5:7; Eph. 3:20; 1 Kings 3:10-11

  1. Being enriched in all things. 2 Cor. 9:11; 6:10.

God makes people rich. Gen. 14:23; 24:1; 1 Sam.2:6-8. God makes rich through His blessings.

God empowers us for wealth on the platform of His covenant. The covenant contains things to do for both God and man. Once you do your part, you commit God to doing His part. Ps. 89:34.

The covenant of prosperity is superior to any prevailing circumstance of famine. Gen. 12:10; 26:1.

Famine is not new. In the days of Abraham, there was famine – yet in the midst of this, he was very rich. Gen. 13:2. In the days of Isaac too, there was famine – Gen. 26:1.

That there is famine does not mean you should stop sowing. Gen. 26:13-14,16

The only way to come out of hardship is to sow seed. Gen. 47:15-23

There was also famine in the times of Joseph. Gen. 47:14-23, 27. Anytime you are doing something and whatever you have is not enough, sow a seed!!!

Identify your seed and separate it from your bread. Sow your seed and live. Always find a seed!!!!

Covenant people always flourish in hard times. Hard times in the world are best times for God. Job 22:28-29.

 

Terms of the covenant of financial prosperity

  1. Kingdom promotion giving and sacrifices. Ps. 50:6; 125:5-6, Acts 15:36

The kingdom is God’s government system on earth. The best way to succeed is to find what God is doing and doing it with him. The kingdom is not limited to places but extends to people you are seeing. Luke 17:21. We are mobile kingdoms. Multiply the impact of the kingdom. Zech 1:17

  1. Giving to the poor – Giving to the poor amongst us is a system of elevation amongst the brethren. Prov. 22:9. You don’t need to have everything to give anything. Deut. 15:11. Deut. 15:7-10

Acts 15:36, Rom. 15:25-26. 1Cor. 16:1-4.

It is a system of elevation for the brethren. Prov. 22:9; Deut. 15:11

  1. Giving to parents. Parents demand and desire honor from their children, and honor is done with substance. Mal. 1:6-8. Do not call your parents to say something, send something! Eph. 6:1-3, 2Cor. 12:13-15
