GATEWAYS TO FINANCIAL FORTUNE PART 2A - Pastor Olugbenga Felix Elkannah

God’s thoughts are accessed through His gateways. His thoughts to prosper us are made through His gateways. 3John 1:2. Until you subscribe to His ways, you are not qualified to experience His acts. Psalm 103:7.

It is the gate key that gives you access to the gateways. Until your light breaks forth on the key, the gateways remain locked. The light of God must break forth on the keys for the gate to remain open. Isaiah 60:1,11.

Luke 11:52.

Revelation of the covenant is the gate key to a world of financial fortunes. You must have understanding of the depth of His covenant to work in affluence. Gen. 8:22. Every covenant initiated by God can never be terminated by man.

God’s covenant cannot be broken, but those who break God’s covenant remain broken for life. That you do not practice the covenant does not make it invalid, it does not change who God is. The gate key is the covenant while the gateway is your stewardship. Psalm 38:10. Matt 6:33. Seek to practice His covenant and every other thing that men are running after will be added to you. The gate is your alignment to His covenant while the gateway is your assignment to God’s Kingdom. If you must align to the covenant then you must fulfill your assignment. Until you are engaged in your assignment you are not entitled to the covenant. You are either serving God with your substance or serving your substance as your God.

Money makes a terrible master, but a wonderful servant. You can send money on an errand in various ways – printing handbills for evangelism, members’ welfare, etc. Luke 16:13. When you chase God, money will be chasing you.

What is the Covenant?

A covenant is a deal enacted by God, based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath. We are empowered for wealth through covenant practice. Deut. 8:18. The covenant is superior to prevailing circumstance or any economic challenge. Psalm 33:18-19.

Famine is synonymous with every generation in history. There was famine during the days of Abraham in Gen. 12:10; the days of Isaac in Gen. 26:1, 12-13. As a covenant child, you are to be envied – if you are a covenant practitioner. Gen. 47:15

It takes the covenant secret of patience to access financial fortune. Heb. 6:15. Patience is not stagnation, it is steady progress. Patience plus practice is equal to product. Activity is not equal to productivity. Productivity is the secret of coming out great in life.

What are the covenant steps to financial prosperity?

  1. Kingdom promotion sacrifice. Haggai 1:4-12. God only responds to His covenant of sacrifice not your tithing or attendance at services. Sacrifice is God’s bail out platform from every harsh economic situation. We are empowered for wealth
  2. Giving to the poor. Prov. 28:27. Psalm 41:1-3. When you give to the poor you avert being plagued with sickness. Prov. 19:17. Always hunt for opportunities to give out. Initiate giving, do not wait to be told. God will not bless you beyond your commitment to giving to the needy. The greatness of your harvest is tied to the goodness of your seed. Psalm 126:5. A seed that does not cost you anything will never yield results. When you give to the poor you are crediting your account in heaven. Obedience to His covenant is what brings you to the realm of financial fortune.
  3. Giving to your parents. Eph. 6:1-2. Your parent’s prayers goes a long way in your life; it averts a lot. If your parents are not alive, look for a father/mother figure.

What are the benefits of covenant Practice?

  1. It averts plaque. 2Sam. 24:24-25. As a covenant practitioner, whatever affects others does not affect you. When you give, you secure your financial destiny.
  2. It secures the generation of your children unborn. Psalm 112:1-10. Dive into opportunities you see.
