3. Fasting spiritually brings about answers to prayers. Isaiah 58:6
4. Fasting is a spiritual device that empowers us to deal with any issue of life. Luke 4:14
5. What physical food is to your physical body is what fasting is to your spiritual body and fasting brings about spiritual growth
6. The last days are the days of information and revelations
7. Dominion in the kingdom is a product of revelation and not desire
8. You cannot just desire dominion; It takes revelation for you to dominate your world
9. The level of your dominion is determined by the depth of your revelation. 1 Corinthians 8:2
10. Prayer and fasting are your alignment that leads to the information of your dominion. John 1:5
11. When you are filled with revelation you dominate your world
12. We rise in the kingdom by revelation

What is Prayer?

Prayer is a platform for provoking divine intervention and supernatural transformation. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Features of the last days?

Everything that pertains to life is not prayer, but everything is by prayer

1. The last days are the days of the outbreak of revelation, but revelation is facilitated by prayer and fasting. Jeremiah 31:33-34, 2 Corinthians 4:4

• Fasting is the capsule for revelation
• There is no gift for fasting.
• Fasting affects your life spiritually and physically. Hebrews 12:2
• You need more than fasting and prayer to succeed in life and walk in dominion
• Fasting without studying the word of God can lead to frustration.
• Without the Word, fasting is mere dieting. 1 John 5:14
• God’s word is the link that gives us access to answers to prayers.
• The word is what gives worth to our prayers and qualifies us for heavenly audience and blessings from heaven
• Every divine connection calls for genuine preparation. Prepare your way for the covenant highways of life because it is how you prepare that will determine how the year turns out for you.
• Lack of word preparation is what brings frustration in life. Colossians 3:16
• Our spirit has been in tune to communicate with God. Acts 6:4. Because the altar of your word preparation will guarantee your speedy answers to prayer because it is God’s word that connects you to your throne of prayer. Isaiah 43:26
• The altar of prayer and fasting leads to the eruption of answered prayers

      2. The last days are the days of manifold wisdom, but wisdom from above is facilitated by fasting. 2 Peter 3:15, Daniel 5:11

Fasting and prayer cannot replace creativity and intelligence, but you must give yourself solely to the Word of God. If you must be creative and intelligent you must add word study to your fasting. Because when you reject the word of God you reject your access to spiritual wisdom, because whatsoever attacks your prayer life will also attack your access to spiritual wisdom and dominion. Luke 18:1

Profitable approach to fasting

1. We must come thanking, praising, and worshipping God. Psalm 100:4

• When you pray, you approach His throne with thanksgiving

      2. Engage the force of faith. Matthew 21:22

• Don’t let the devil attack your faith, because the devil is out to tamper with your faith and when he tampers with your faith, he has tampered with your destiny. Faith-filled prayer is the ticket that guarantees delivery from heaven
• Faith is the ticket that guarantees delivery from heaven.
• When your faith cuts you cannot get answers from heaven
• Until faith is in place, your prayer will end in frustration.
• Faith and fasting bring every opposition into submission. Matthew 17:21
• Faith and fasting enhance effectual prayer
• You cannot separate Faith from prayer and fasting because they go hand in hand

3. We must come boldly and not beggarly. As a child of God, you are not supposed to beg for what is yours. Hebrews 4:16

• Grace is the cure for disgrace. Fasting and prayer provokes help from above. So, we must approach the throne of prayer in boldness, you can’t be a beggar when your heavenly father is on the throne.
• Without the help of God, we are helpless here on earth. Proverbs 28:1
• Every blessing in life comes as a result of the help of God

4. We must engage in kingdom advancement prayers. Matthew 6:33

• Kingdom-oriented prayers give us direct access to God.
• If you want to keep dominating, you must be consistent on the altar of prayer.
• When you are advancing God’s kingdom on your altar of prayer, your life will also be advancing.
• You can’t seek after the things of God’s kingdom and remain stagnant in life, so make kingdom advancement prayer a lifestyle
• Prayer and fasting are the breath that regenerate our spirit, so if you want to remain relevant in life you must make prayer and fasting a lifestyle
• Prayer and fasting enhance our relationship with God.
• Until you are part of God’s kingdom, your kingdom advancement prayer will not yield results
• Your faith prayer and fasting are our links that connects us to the kingdom of God
• You must be rooted in the things of God’s kingdom for you to have dominion. That means you must be a child of God for you to dominate your world
• You must be connected to Jesus for you to be connected to your covenant highways

What do we do in a fast?

• In a fast, we further weaken the flesh to strengthen the spirit. Because the strength of the flesh is not an advantage to you. From today I pray that your spirit will be willing. Matthew 26:41
• You want prayer to work for you, make it an always thing. Luke 21:36
• Praying always is like depositing money into your account, the more you deposit, the more you get access.
• The more we are together in prayer, the more it is easier for us to get answers. Acts 4:24-33
• There is a dimension of the spirit you can never get alone; you can only get it in the midst of the brethren
• There is a grace of personal prayer, and there is also a grace of corporate prayer.
• There are some ordeals that can end only by corporate prayer. Acts 4:23-33
• When you don’t engage in corporate prayer, you are implying that you are intentionally excluding yourself from the access to divine answers; Be committed to corporate prayer! John 7:37-39
