Topic: Commanding signs and wonders from the platform of revival – part 1B

Subtitle: Unveiling the covenant of Healing and Deliverance

In Life and in the church, there are 3 categories of people you find:

1. The fans: They come to church for fun, they only come to Church to make contacts and advance their social wellbeing. They come for their personal welfare. Fans are for fun.

2. The Referees: These are the ‘senior men’ in church. The ones that judge and criticize everything that happens in the Church. Noting and correcting errors. They criticize everything. They are Pharisees (too far to see) and Sadducees (too sad to see). They count years in Church and nothing to show. Too much analysis will give you paralysis!

3. The Players: These are the serious-minded Christians. They come to church to seek God. They value instruction from the altar and are ready to obey. John 13:17 Matthew 7:24. It is not in what you know, it is in what you practice.

I discovered that out of these 3 categories of people, the first two categories are the multitudes, they are also the empty vessels. Players are the ones that get the reward, they go with the prices (testimonies). The first two categories are the multitudes, the last category are the disciples.

Matthew 14:22 – Looking at this scripture, Jesus forced the disciples to change levels, while he sent the multitudes away empty.

In this kingdom, it is your commitment to God that shows how far God will go for you.

Matthew 8:4- in this passage, the Centurion, a great soldier with many legions, wore his uniform and went to meet Jesus to seek the healing of his servant. In Matthew 8:6-7. Matthew 15:25-27.

Why did Jesus respond immediately to the request of that Centurion to go and heal him? The answer is in verse 6, “my servant”. Jesus understood the value of servanthood. When you are truly the servant of God, He moves to heal anything that discomforts you.

In Luke 7:2, what moved the centurion to trek that far was the value of the servant to him. Your value to God will determine how far He will go for you. What moved Jesus to say, ‘‘I will come and heal Him”- Luke 7:4-5, despite the fact that he was not a Jew , the Centurion, a Roman, loveth the Lord, he built a church for the Jews to show his love for God.

Are you using God, or you are allowing God to use you? If you are not committed to God and His kingdom, you will be omitted by God for His Blessings.

Matthew 10:1 – He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast out all manner of sicknesses and all manner of diseases. There is a difference between sicknesses and diseases. Disease has to do with things or conditions that do not make your life to be at ease while sickness has to do with your physical well-being. Sickness tampers with your physical system and needs to be corrected.

Depression is a disease, poverty is a disease, barrenness is a disease; whatever will not make your life to be at ease is a disease. Matt. 3:14-15. Sickness is to be healed, while diseases are to be delivered. They are not the same.

Mark 6:7-13; “they casted out many devils and, many that were sick were healed” – Disease has to do with casting out devils, while sickness is enforced. Matthew 8:3; Luke 4:38-39.

Covenant Demands for healing and deliverance

Right from the beginning. God never ordained man to be sick; Genesis 1:16;29. From this verse, we can see that trees and herbs were made for food and not for drugs.

Genesis 3:7 – the leaf used as clothing here talks about man’s attempt to help himself after the fall, which can be likened to how man has developed medical science to meet the needs of man.

Medical science is good, but it has limitations. For in every human system, there is room for error.

Genesis 3:21 – God removed the leaf and replaced it with animal skin. The animal skin represents God’s solution for healing. The leaf is physical, the animal is spiritual sacrifice, for the animal had to die before the skin will be used. Jesus has done this spiritual sacrifice for our healing.

Steps for enjoying Divine Healing and Deliverance

1. Locate His Clinic. Zion is the clinic of the Great Physician. Jeremiah 18:1-4. In this passage; Zion is the Potter’s house, where the Potter is Jesus and we are the clay.

Jeremiah 8:19-21. Your sickness and your disease affect God; God is not happy that you are sick. The Church is the Gilead where God attends to the needs of His people for healing. Psalms 84:7 – every time you appear before The Great Physician, you go back healthier, happier, and stronger. Matthew 8:16 – The Physician we have is the Physician of all physicians. There is no case Jesus can not handle.

Have this understanding: coming to the Physician is not enough, you must have faith in the Physician. Numbers 21:5-7. In Verse 8, after Moses pleaded for the healing of the people, God told him to make a fiery serpent and set it upon a pole. John 3:14-15 relates with Numbers 21:8.

Now verse 9, the process of their healing seemed ridiculous, but those who had faith and believed were healed.

2. Access the Great Physician for His attention. Just like in Hospitals, you need a card to see a physician, Spiritually, the card for our healing is our Salvation. Psalm 103v3, until sin is off you, healing cannot come in. Salvation is your card for healing. Mark 7:27-29 “

Until you are qualified for healing by salvation, God is not committed to healing you. Hebrews 7:1. Everywhere God manifested in the Old testament, it was Jesus Himself.

Exodus 3:14. When Moses asked God who He was, God replied ‘I AM THAT I AM’. THIS MEANS He is whatever you believe Him to be. God can be your Savior and Healer, if you see and believe Him to be.”

3. Embrace His Report. Just like in the world today, if a man doesn’t believe a certain Doctor and sees Him as fake, whatever he recommends will not work for the man. Now what is the report of The Great Physician: Medical science believes in facts; facts are situational reports. The Great Physician administers healing based on truth. Fact changes, truth does not change. If you don’t understand the truth, the fact will keep you in bondage. That’s why JESUS said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free”. Job 13:4-5. Lets look at these examples: When you buy a car, brand new, after about 2 years it starts developing faults, and it gets worse. Then it gets to the point that the mechanics are saying that the car cannot be fixed and should be condemned. Later you find out you have a warranty of 5 years and the car is only 2 years since you bought it, you send a message to the manufacturers and they direct you to their factory, after which they return the car back to you with all the faulty parts changed; this is so because the manufacturer always has original parts of their creations. So also brethren, Zion is our factory and the warranty over our life is our Salvation, EVERY PART CAN BE REPLACED AND RESTORED. 1Corinthians 6:19-20, therefore, anything that is not glorifying God in your system can be flushed out by God.

4. Embrace and apply His Prescription. Matthew 8:17. Be ready to do what His prescription demands. You declare your healing. You enforce your healing. Matthew 3:11-12
