Jehoshaphat had an encounter with God through praise. Same with Paul and Silas when they were in prison. When they served God, the prison doors came open.
Proverbs 23:7 => You think first before you act.. So every act is reproduced through song.
Exodus 15: 11 => God is fearful in praises doing wonders. Hallelujah.
2 Chronicles 20: 12 & 22 => A great multitude came up to Jehoshaphat. He prayed to God and sang and he won the battle. In verse 29, the fear of God was in the enemies knowing that the Lord fought the battle for Jehoshaphat.

Prayer: Anyone fighting against you, the Lord will fight for you.

Psalm 47:7 => We should sing praises with Understanding. Praise is the only thing God can’t do for himself. When praises goes up, blessings come down.
Joel 1:11 & 12 => You sew and you don’t reap. You give and you don’t receive. Why? Because Joy have departed from you.
Jeremiah 30:19 => Out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that makes merry.. for I will multiply them..
Note: The devil can use anyone to tamper with your Joy.

SIGNIFICANCE OF PRAISE:
1. Praise provokes supernatural breakthrough. Psalm 22:3 => God inhabits the praises of his people. Wherever you find yourself, give praises to God.
2. Praise is the highway to our high places. Habakkuk 3:17-19 => In all forms of negativity (As seen in the bible), yet, I will rejoice in the Lord. The Lord is our strength and will make me walk in high places. To the chief singer of my stringed instrument.

Acts 13:18 => God suffered the children of Israel for 40 years because of their manners and attitude. (Pst Sidney). Psalm 34: 1 => I will bless the Lord at all times. Our promotion is in the hands of God but only when we praise.
