Beginning Statements:
- The outpouring of the spirit of God upon men is what is called a revival. Joel 2:28-30
- Every outpouring of the spirit results in blessings. Isaiah 44:3. Just like every outpouring of sugar or salt or pepper changes taste, so shall the outpouring of the spirit of God upon men.
- Every time the spirit of God is released, the effect on this side is blessing.
- The security of our lives is tied to the blessedness of life or living. Isaiah 65:8,
- The last thing Jesus secured for us, by resurrection, is blessing. Revelation 5:12
- At creation, first pronouncement and proclamation was blessing Genesis 1:28
- You can never be promoted until you begin to see blessings in your life. Acts 3:26
- The reason Jesus came to earth was to bless. Acts 3:26
- The summary of a revived life is the blessing. One major revived life we saw in the scripture was Father Abraham.
- You cannot mention Abraham and his sons without talking about the blessings. Genesis 24:1
- If you must labour, don’t labour for wisdom or riches, labour for blessings. Proverbs 23:4. Labour not to be rich, labour to be blessed. Proverbs 10:22, Isaiah 65:23.
- It is the blessing of God that delivers you from vain labour
- Once you are blessed, you cannot labour in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:10
- Once you are blessed, you labour to gain. Isaiah 61:9
- Kingdom life is made blessed by the blessing. Psalm 128:1-5
- Blessedness is the major maker of kingdom life. All kingdom men are made blessed entity!
- The reward of a revival is to make all kingdom men a blessed entity. Abraham still holds the seed of blessing till today. Genesis 12:1-3, Genesis 22:16-18.
- You do not know what you are doing to yourself by not engaging in the things of the Lord.
- The ability to discern times and seasons is an advantage in revival. 1 Chronicles 12:32, Luke 19:44
- Evil times are sponsored by ignorance. Ecclesiastes 9:12. No time will take you unaware. A revived life is a blessed life. That is why Abraham started his life with blessings and his sons continued from where he stopped.
What is a revival?
- A revival is the move of the spirit of God that drafts multitudes into the kingdom, thereby turning churches into cities without walls. Acts 13:34. BOOM – Blessing Out Of Measure, Micah 4:1-2, Zechariah 2:4-5, Mark 2:1-2, Luke 5:1, Luke 12:1,32. Jesus will never start a revival until there is a crowd
- In a revival, cities are emptied into churches for worship. Isaiah 2:1-3, Zechariah 8:20-23
What are the indicators of a revival?
- When one begins to take pleasure in the things of the kingdom as a way of life. Matthew 6:33, Psalm 102:13-15, Psalm 35:27, Psalm 122:1, Haggai 1:14, Psalm 84:1-5, 87:1-6.
What are the benefits of revival?
- Every revival triggers the flow of signs and wonders. Zephaniah 3:17, Acts 4:4-8
- Divine favour. Esther 2:9,12,14, Jerimiah 30:17.
- Our restoration is the will of God
- We serve a restorer God. Psalm 23:3
- All things are restorable when God is available. Acts 3:21
- God is a willing restorer. Matthew 8:2-3. In this revival you will receive amazing waves of restoration. Joel 2:25
Dimensions of restoration
- Full restoration by recovery. Proverbs 24:13-14, 1 Samuel 30:8,18,19
- Double restoration by combat. Zechariah 9:11-12, Isaiah 64:7
- A 7-fold restoration by insight. Proverbs 6:30-31
- Multiple restoration by divine destiny encounter. 2 Kings 8:1,3,6
- Overplus restoration by light. Leviticus 25:27
What must I do to secure restoration?
- Ensure authentic salvation. Ensure that your heart is fully with God. 1 John 3-4
- Engage faith in the world of restoration. John 1:12
- Make serving God your priority for living. Psalm 89:20. Let your main identity be servant of God. Philippians 2:5-8
- Seek the wellbeing of others in prayer. Philippians 2:4. The moment you begin to protect or preserve the things of others, you will get that which you seek.
- Engage the baptism in the Holy G John 6:63. Because it is the spirit that quickens, so you quicken everything that is dead. Luke 11:13.
