1. Thou shall take thy place as the high priest of the family. The family is likened to a house that’s under construction requiring the help of God to build and sustain. (Hebrews 3:4)
2. Thou shall take thy place as the protector of the family. Its the duty of the husband to provide security. Its the duty of the husband to speak right words over the wife and children. (Genesis 31:32-35, Genesis 35:19 :- Rachael died out of the words of the husband)
3. Thou shall take thy place as the provider of the family. What is the duty of the provider of the home?

6. Thou shall not delegate the children’s upbringing to others. (Prov 22:6)
7. Thou shall mind thy manners. (Philippians 1:72, Ephesian 4:29). You need to exhibit good manners in the presence of your family as a man.
8. Thou shall plan together. 2 are always better than 1. (Isaiah 1:18 – Come lets us reason together). When people sit and reason together, conditions can be changed and future failure averted. Lack of planning has ruined many homes.
9. Thou shall maintain your match. Your home should be a place of humor. Go out together, have fun, watch movies. The things you enjoyed together before marriage should be maintained.
10. Thou shall serve the lord together. Promote Gods work. Pray together at home. Invest in kingdom advancements.

There are 4 ways a husband stands a high priest

1. He must offer thanksgiving to God on behalf of his family.
2. It’s the duty of the husband to always intercede for the family. (Job 1:5)
3. It’s the high-priest that paves the way of salvation for the family.
4. It’s the duty of the husband to exercise faith for help or deliverance of the family.
