Luke 15:12 – End:- The story of the prodigal son
1 Peter 2:2:- Every child is born is baby (Be full of desire for the true milk of the word, as babies at their mothers’ breasts, so that you may go on to salvation;)

Isaiah 37:31 :- The remnant that escaped from the house of Judah shall take root downwards and bear fruits upwards.
Job 6:8 :- That I might request and ye shall grant me. You need to make a request for God to grant you.

Ist Chron. 15:13 :- You need to follow Gods due order otherwise, your life experiences a disorder.

Now the question is: What is Gods due order:
Acts 20:32:- And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Mark 2:22:- No man puts a new wine in an old bottle, else the new wine will burst the bottle, But the new wine must be placed in a new bottle.

Mark 3:14 :- And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach

There are 3 stages of spiritual growth
1) THE BABYHOOD STAGE: 2nd Corinth 5: 17: if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are past away and everything is new.

Characteristics of this Stage:
1) Babies are innocent. They don’t have a past. Romans 6:2-4:- May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
2) Babies are ignorant of spiritual things. Just as a baby needs to be watched so as not to eat anything they see, we need to be careful as not to contaminate our spirit.
3) Babies are easily irritated.

2) THE CHILDHOOD STAGE: This stage is attained after growing from the baby stage. This stage dose’nt take time.

Characteristics of this Stage:
1) Curiosity: Children are always curious. 1 Thess 4:11:- Ye study to be quiet and to do your own business.
2) Children are talk actives. They are always talking and blabbing. Prov 10:19:- In the multitude of words, there is always Sin. Escle 5:3: – A fools voice is known by the multitude of words.

Talk-actives are always guilty of 3 things
1. Speaking and discussing the fault and errors of others.
2. Vain speaking {Self projection }
3. Foolish speaking. Making unpleasant jokes and jerks. Ephesians 5:4:- Give thanks instead of foolish talk and jesting.

3) THE MANHOOD STAGE:
1) A matured person values spiritual things more than physical things. Hebrews 15:11
2) The spiritual man is governed by the law of love.

Genesis 45:5-7:- Now do not be troubled or angry with yourselves for sending me away, because God sent me before you to be the saviour of your lives.

Your spirit man is the engine of your life. Waxing strong in the spirit is the key to overcome temptation.

How do I grow spiritually?
1. Through prescribed exercise.
2. Through prayer and fasting
3. We must learn to speak in tongues, pray in the holy ghost
4. Quality Nutrition in the word

Effect of Prayers and Fasting
1. Destroys evil habits
2. Enhances our crave for spiritual things and destroys carnality (Matthew 5:6)
3. Fortifies our faith (Luke 22)
4. It develops spiritual soberness
